Everything you want to know about chocolate
In my experience, if you take cereal and add melted butter and marshmallows you're going to end up with a quick, easy and crowd-pleasing dessert. But why should Rice Krispies and their generic "crisp rice" counterparts have all the fun? These are some of my favorite cereal treats I've cooked up. What are yours?
Chocolate and peanuts make for a classic dessert tag team. If you've ever had a Rice Krispies treat and thought, hmmm...you know what would make this extra awesome? Peanut butter, butterscotch, and a ton of chocolate! Well, these are the bars for you.
Peanut Butter Cap'n Crunch Squares
Taking a page out of the Scotcharoo playbook, here's another chocolate and peanutty combo. These bars get their peanuttiness from PB Cap'n Crunch. You can't go wrong with sweet and salty.
Have you ever eaten a bowl of Golden Grahams and thought, I wonder if you could make s'mores with these? The answer is yes. And these bars are delicious. If you're looking for some summer camp nostalgia but don't have access to a bonfire, try whipping these up.
Lucky Charms Marshmallow Squares
Let's talk things that are magically delicious. Because if the inclusion of some marshmallows makes a recipe tasty, imagine doubling that. Yes, you may have concerns about getting a cavity from reading the recipe. I understand that. Truly, I do. But if you're reading this post, I suspect you're a fellow marshmallow enthusiast. In practice, the oat-ty goodness in the cereal actually balances out the sweetness rather nicely. And come on: rainbow marshmallows.
Kix Toffee Bark
If you're as big a fan of wicked simple Chocolate Crack, this is a recipe for you. All you need is butter, brown sugar, Kix, vanilla, a pinch of salt, and some chocolate. So quick. So easy. So delicious.
