Salt & Straw, which started last year as a tiny ice cream cart, recently opened its second brick-and-mortar scoop shop on NW 23rd Avenue in Portland, Oregon. Flavors such as Dandelion Sorbet with Spring Flowers and Rhubarb Crumble with Toasted Anise are all produced using local, sustainable, and organic ingredients.
