Chocolate frosted doughnuts with sprinkles were easily among my favorite foods as a kid. Come on, it's a doughnut...covered in chocolate and dressed up in sprinkles. In fact, the more sprinkles the better. And seasonal sprinkles? Little tiny hearts or shamrocks or pumpkins? Heck yes.
Now I have a kid who loves chocolate frosted doughnuts with sprinkles. And with my heart-shaped cookie cutter it's easy to make a special treat for my little Valentine.
