Share Your Sweets: Homemade Preserves
There's no need to get sad when a season is over if you have the time and inclination to roll up your sleeves and do a little preserving. And from figs to ghost peppers, see how the SE community is saving their favorite produce of the season.
Simple and straightforward, shortbread often gets overlooked in the cookie department. But this buttery treat is the perfect snack with a cup of tea, and takes to fillings, toppings, and flavors quite well. So shoot us a photo of your best shortbread cookie (along with a link to the recipe!) and we'll include it in next week's roundup. Be sure to send it in no later than Tuesday, October 23rd so we can include it in the Share Your Sweets on Thursday October 25th.
