Fall means apples, and apples mean so many things: pies, doughnuts, cakes, cider milkshakes, and oh so much more. With temperatures dropping, there's nothing better than a warm apple...well, just about anything. See the SE community's favorite ways to use the fall fruit in the slideshow above.
Next week, we're circling back to the cinnamon treats we asked for earlier this month. Whether it's the star of the show in a soft, buttery roll, or used to pep up a pie or bread, cinnamon is one of our all-time favorite fall flavors. If you haven't already, here's your second chance to shoot us a photo of your best cinnamon sweet (along with a link to the recipe!) and we'll include it in next week's roundup. Be sure to send it in no later than Tuesday, October 1 so we can include it in the Share Your Sweets on Thursday, October 5.
If you're new to Share Your Sweets, take a peep at the rules here. A few notes: we can only take one submission per person, so pick your favorite (or the most recent shot) and send it in. Also, Share Your Sweets is just for the folks at home; no pros or companies! If you want to really impress us, crop your photo so it's 610 pixels wide and 458 pixels tall.
