Bake the Book: Blueberry-Meyer Lemon Muffins

Blueberry muffins, the breakfast standby. Except these are better than any you've had, likely ever. They're packed with berries, and the cake itself is brightened with Meyer lemon zest and juice. Sweet makes them sturdy enough to take on a weekend trip, and pretty enough to be the envy of your office.

Tips & Tweaks: This is a pretty straightforward recipe, so no real explanation is needed. You do have a little creative license with the sugar topping; before the muffins go in the oven, top with brown sugar, vanilla sugar, or lemon sugar (when you rub lemon zest and sugar together, to release the essential oils).
