Weekend Baking Project: Buckeye Pie
If you've ever gone to a sports game in Ohio, you've probably eaten (or seen others eating) Buckeyes. These candies are made by creaming together peanut butter with butter and confectioners' sugar, forming the mixture into balls, freezing them, then covering them in melted chocolate. Yes, they're awesome.
But why stop there? Why not take a chocolate graham cracker crust, cover it with a creamy peanut butter filling, then top the whole thing with lots of buckeye candies?
Don't answer that. Because even if there are reasons, we don't want to hear them. We love this pie and we think you will too.
