Behind the Scenes: Sticky Toffee Pudding at John Dory Oyster Bar, NYC

Spring is finally (hopefully, actually) around the corner, but we wouldn't have gotten through the winter without desserts like the sticky toffee pudding at The John Dory Oyster Bar, which is warm, gooey, and comforting in all the right ways.

If you're not familiar with sticky toffee pudding (read: British) you may be surprised that a) British pudding bears no resemblance to the Snack Packs your mom sent with you in kindergarten and b) the key ingredient to sticky toffee pudding is dates. But I suppose "warm date cake with toffee sauce" doesn't have the same ring to it.

Click through the slideshow to see how The John Dory Oyster Bar makes their version (read: earl grey infused whipped cream)!
