These highly customizable, chewy, and satisfying granola bars from Edible DIY: Simple, Giftable Recipes to Savor and Share are just the thing to wind down from holiday overindulging. Make a batch and bring them to work, or pack them in lunches. Or grab one as you head out the door for a quick breakfast.

Tips: This is a recipe that is easily played with. If you're not so concerned about the health content of these bars, drizzle melted dark or milk chocolate over them, or dip their bottoms in it. A note: using whole wheat flour in the place of all-purpose makes these a little "healthy" tasting, so if you're leaning towards decadent, stay with plain flour. The customizability extends to the type of fruit contained within: get creative!

Tweaks: This time, the tweaks tie in with the tips. The wheat flour is interchangeable with white, the apricots and raisins can be switched out with different fruit, and you can always add ingredients (like chocolate or peanut butter chips).
