Ask The Pastry Chef: What to Eat at Flour Bakery, Boston

First came the original Flour Bakery location in the South End, followed by Fort Point and then Cambridge. And if you follow Joanne Chang's Twitter feed, you can get live updates on the construction status of her fourth outpost, Flour Back Bay, due to open any time now.

Between her butter-laden pastries, stunning cakes, and inspired (and well-crafted) sandwiches and salads, it's no wonder that her business is turning into a mini Boston enterprise. (Frankly, I think the sticky buns alone could fuel the expansion.) But when we asked Chang herself for a list of must-try sweets, she pointed out a few we hadn't yet tried. Now that we have, we're more excited than ever that Flour 4 is moving in.

Check out all the sweets in the slideshow above.
