Cusp may be most well known as a spot for top-notch cocktails, shareable plates, and cozy coastal cuisine, but Executive Chef Donald Lockart doesn't mess around when it comes to dessert, even at brunch.
His latest addition to the brunch menu is crispy apple rings: battered and deep-fried apple slices served with warm caramel, ice cream, and housemade granola. It's a dish with some excellent textural and temperature contrasts at play, from the interplay between the light and fluffy apple rings and the crunchy granola, to the always delicious pairing of ice cream with warm caramel.
You can taste them yourself during Saturday and Sunday brunch (8 a.m to 2:30 p.m.).
