"The soft serve at Nicoletta. Soo good. We got it with hot fudge and homemade pistachio brittle. It's soft serve on another level. You can share it with someone but you probably won't want to :)"— Jen Weinberg, Ad Sales Director

Paris-Brest at Bosie Tea Parlor, NYC
Paris-Brest at Bosie Tea Parlor, NYC
"The Paris-Brest doesn't top my list of favorite French pastries, but when fellow Serious Eats editor Max tells me to get one, I listen. And his emphatic recommendation for the Paris-Brest at Bosie Tea Parlor was 1000 percent spot on. Theirs is the best one I've ever had (although I say that not having eaten many Paris-Brests in my life). The halved choux pastry ring is generously filled with buttery smooth pralinĂ© cream and topped with caramelized hazelnuts that taste like they were forged by magic and rainbows. My boyfriend and I shared one, first daintily cutting it with our forks, then quickly switching to the fork-less method of shoving chunks into our mouths by hand, then feeling sad that it was all gone."—Robyn Lee, AHT Editor

Frog Hollow Farm Nectarine & Plum Conserve
Frog Hollow Farm Nectarine & Plum Conserve
"The jam aisle at Bi Rite Market in San Francisco is my nemesis; I try to look the other way when I pass. This month I caved and tried the nectarine and plum conserve from legendary Frog Hollow Farm, and I gotta say, it's the best six bucks I've ever spent on jam. This stuff is tangy and not too sweet, rich like apple butter but deep with stone-fruit flavor. It's awesome on toast and graham crackers, but also delicious on yogurt or just on a spoon."—Maggie Hoffman, Drinks Editor

Bananayama Pie from Yura on Madison, NYC
Bananayama Pie from Yura on Madison, NYC
"Earlier this month, we had big fun at our Pie and Wine Social and Brooklyn Winery. There was pie, there was wine, and there was a major sugar crash after. It's really hard to pick a favorite slice from the day but if we're talking best pie with the best name, it'd be the Bananayama from Yura on Madison. It's a sweet potato pie multiplied by banana. More sweet potato pies should become friends with bananas."—Erin Zimmer, National Managing Editor

Classic Cream Puff from Pacific Puffs, San Francisco
Classic Cream Puff from Pacific Puffs, San Francisco
"I didn't know I could love cream puffs, but I guess that's because I'd never had a really good one. The whole bunch from Pacific Puffs was delicious but this was my favorite. Airy choux pastry filled with a Madagascar bourbon vanilla cream and topped with a rich, sugary, chocolatey glaze."—Carrie Vasios, Sweets Editor

"They taste like cookies! But they taste like stuffing! (but they taste like cookies!) A mind trip in the most delicious, festive way."—Carey Jones, Senior Managing Editor
