Rosh Hashanah Sweets: Apples & Honey Ice Cream from Chozen

Jewish New Year is right around the corner, meaning plenty of apples and honey will be consumed to symbolically ring in sweetness for the coming months. If you're tired of simply dipping the fruit, mix things up a bit with Chozen's Apples & Honey ice cream. Chozen is an all-kosher ice cream producer that bases their flavors off of classic Jewish desserts (others include Matzoh Toffee and Chocolate Babka).
Like this brand's other flavors, the treat largely succeeds based on novelty. Here the creamy honey ice cream is peppered with small chunks of apple. Many of us in the office found the base to be overwhelmingly sweet, while the apples lacked crunch, but it would still be a fun dessert to have on the table during the High Holiday season.
Have you tried Chozen's Apples & Honey ice cream? What do you think?
