Impress your guests and always have a fresh batch of scones on hand. The Joy of Gluten-Free, Sugar-Free Baking presents a recipe that's easy to make, and even easier to eat thanks to the nice balance of sweet and tart flavors.
Tips: As with any of these recipes, replacing the Stevia for plain sugar is simple; just follow a 1:1 ratio. And for the best flavor, don't replace the butter with vegetable oil.
Tweaks: Adding a handful of blueberries or combining orange zest with lemon is an easy way to play up the citrusy fruitiness. Use the rest of the lemon juice and a bit of stevia (or sugar) to make a quick frosting.
