SlideshowShare Your Sweets: British Desserts
We're a little sad that the Olympics are over, but thanks to you, the London spirit can live on in our kitchens. From Bakewell Tart to Eton Mess cupcakes, you've given a selection of British treats that would make the Queen proud (and hungry.) Check out all ten recipes in the slideshow above!
We're at that time of year when tomatoes, zucchini, and squash can be as sweet as candy. It's time to make carrot cake and zucchini bread, really corny corn bread, avocado ice pops, and even sneaks beets into your chocolate cake.
For next week, tell us how you use summer veggies in dessert, shoot us a photo (along with a link to the recipe!) and we'll include it in next week's roundup. Be sure to send it in no later than Tuesday, August 21st so we can include it in next Thursday's Share Your Sweets on August 23rd.
If you're new to Share Your Sweets, take a peep at the rules here. A few notes: we can only take one submission per person, so pick your favorite (or the most recent shot) and send it in. Also, Share Your Sweets is just for the folks at home; no pros or companies! If you want to really impress us, crop your photo so it's 610 pixels wide and 458 pixels tall.
