Weekend Baking Project: Plum Meringue Pie

Oh hey there, stone fruit. You're looking nice and juicy. I'm glad you're finally back on the scene.
Want a new way to use those plump purple plums? Try this plum meringue pie. It may seem unfamiliar, but it works with the same principle as its popular cousin, lemon meringue. Plums, like lemons, are slightly acidic, and they'll balance the sweetness of the meringue. The meringue itself is ever-so-slightly chewy on the surface and its billowing presentation makes for the perfect light summer dessert.
