A meal at J&G Grill, Jean-Georges' restaurant at the St. Regis Deer Valley Resort in Park City, Utah, gets a pretty awesome start thanks to the funicular ride up to dinner. Of course once you're up there, you should definitely stick around for dessert.
Even if you've had a heavy meal, the J&G Cheesecake ($9) is worth trying. The crème fraiche-based filling is fluffy and slightly tangy, making this a lighter dessert option. The other components of the dish change with the seasons. This version sports a topping of raspberries and a scoop of rhubarb sorbet, which is silky smooth with subtle notes of tartness. A circle of strawberry compote complements both the cheesecake and the sorbet, and is well-worth the drag of your utensil. If you can take your eyes off your plate, you'll enjoy the spectacular views of the Deer Valley Resort ski slopes and the surrounding area.
