First Look: Sprinkles Ice Cream, Los Angeles
Photographs: Christine Chiao
Just in time for summer, Candace and Charles Nelson have expanded their popular Los Angeles cupcakery, Sprinkles, by opening Sprinkles Ice Cream in the space adjacent to their cupcake shop and ATM.
The menu features a daily set of 12 rotating scoops chosen from a master list of 20 flavors. The ice cream is slow churned using Straus Family Creamery's organic dairy. But what will keep us coming back? Delicious extras like homemade red velvet cones, customizable ice cream sandwiches, and cupcake sundaes (yes, Sprinkles cupcakes and ice cream in one happy cup).
Check out some highlights in the slideshow above.
