Share Your Sweets: French Desserts and Treats
Airy chouquettes, buttery sables, flaky croissants—your iterations on French pastry have us dreaming of Paris. And if we can't get there, we might just make these all at home. (So, um, someone tell us how the French don't get fat again?)
At least the weather is warm and the skies are staying light. It's a good time to invite friends over for dinner. So what are your favorite dinner party desserts? Do you make a seasonal tart or a flourless chocolate cake? Do you keep it casual with ice cream sundaes or make bread pudding sized for a crowd? Tell us why your dessert is the perfect meal-ender, shoot us a photo (along with a link to the recipe!) and we'll include it in next week's roundup. Be sure to send it in no later than Tuesday, May 1st so we can include it in next Thursday's Share Your Sweets on May 3.
If you're new to Share Your Sweets, take a peep at the rules here. A few notes: we can only take one submission per person, so pick your favorite (or the most recent shot) and send it in. Also, Share Your Sweets is just for the folks at home; no pros or companies! If you want to really impress us, crop your photo so it's 610 pixels wide and 458 pixels tall.
