Sweet Finds: Bonnie's Jams

Bonnie Shershow turns out her namesake jams in the Cambridge kitchen of Formaggio Kitchen. I'm all for keeping it simple, and Bonnie pulls it off with fruit, sugar, a bit of lemon and nothing else.
She has a collection of six flavors, which are available depending on the season. For summer, keep your spoon in her jar of Black & Blue, a perfectly balanced concoction of ripe blackberries and summer sweet blueberries. The flavor is pure and intense, equally wonderful spread on toast or swirled into a cup of plain yogurt.
The Peach-Ginger is also not to be missed; it couples fresh peaches with candied ginger for a subtle, soft spiciness. Save this one for the cheese plate. On each jar, Bonnie also includes a sweet or savory recipe suggestion using the jam.
