Introducing Jenny McCoy Week

If there's a more ambitious young pastry chef out there than Jenny McCoy, I haven't met her. She's come through the ranks of many fine kitchens in Chicago, New Orleans, and New York, made her mark as the pastry chef at A Voce, and is now heading the pastry department at Tom Colicchio's flagship restaurant Craft. And oh yeah, she's earned a BA in food writing, she's involved in Wellness in the Schools, and she's got a cookbook on the way.
We've seen Jenny's work on Serious Eats before—fun sweets like pralines (would that be prah-leens?) and chocolate-covered almonds and cannoli. But we've invited her back to share some of her favorite berry desserts—just in time for prime season.
So this week, expect a cherry clafoutis, blackberry-mascarpone filled cocoa crepe, blueberry-nectarine crisp, and an awful lot more. And please welcome Jenny back to the Serious Eats fold!
